Asda graduates lend a hand.

Friends of Montefiore Woodland’s inaugural Spring Clean

My thanks to everyone who joined us on our inaugural Spring Clean last Wednesday. We were blessed with amazing weather and an excellent turn-out!

The Asda Graduates really enjoyed their time in the sunshine and wanted to stay all day!

I look forward to receiving a newspaper report from them which will be forwarded to the local press.

My thanks also to one of our “Friends”, Kay Smith (Asda Community Champion) for the Asda donation of refreshments (water and fruit) which was very well received. (NB Ramsgate’s new store opened this week).

Thanks to Mike for his time and effort drafting us an excellent map of the Woodland and also to Montefiore Medical Centre for the First-Aid Kit, hand wash and other necessities.

I look forward to seeing as many of you available for our second tidy up where we hope to attack the ivy and brambles around the clearing on Sunday 15th April 10am – 12 noon. (Fingers crossed we will be blessed with good weather, again!)
